Meet The Doctor

Dr. Jamie Smith, DDS

Dr. Jamie Smith is originally from Monroe, Georgia, a small town east of Atlanta. After graduating high school, she attended North Georgia College and State University (NGCSU) in Dahlonega, Georgia. It was there in 1999 that she met her husband, Dr. Dan Smith, at a local coffee shop.

Dr. Smith and her husband later moved to Oklahoma, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, followed by a master’s degree in hospital administration. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2010.

While in dental school, Dr. Smith accepted a commission in the United States Air Force and was appointed as a First Lieutenant. After graduation, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she received advanced training in comprehensive general dentistry, including IV sedation.

Dr. Smith served for 12 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, practicing dentistry in Biloxi, Mississippi; Valdosta, Georgia; Sumter, South Carolina; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She ultimately served as Chief of Dental Services at Tinker Air Force Base and earned numerous awards and commendations throughout her military career. In 2022, she concluded her active-duty service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and transitioned to the Air National Guard.

Dr. Smith is excited to bring her extensive clinical experience and leadership background to private practice in Paris, Texas, where she looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients and becoming part of the community.

Outside the office, Dr. Smith enjoys yoga, spending time with her husband and children, playing VR games, riding ATVs, cooking, and listening to audiobooks.
